Is this even for your child?

No. Early intervention supports any child (ages 0–6) who’s not meeting developmental milestones—whether that’s speech, movement, behaviour, learning, or social skills.

Conditions we work with include:

If something feels “off” about your child’s development, early intervention can help—autism or not.
Yes—and here’s why: Developmental areas are connected. A speech delay often impacts social skills and learning. Catching it early prevents a small gap from becoming a large one. Many children we see have isolated delays that respond beautifully to focused support.
The research is clear: Children who get help early catch up faster. Waiting to “see if they grow out of it” usually means significant challenges later.

Trust your gut. If you’re worried enough to Google it or ask relatives, that’s reason enough to consult.

Red flags that warrant a consultation:

Important: You’re not “overreacting.” Experienced consultants can tell the difference between developmental variation and genuine delay within one session.
Then you’ll get peace of mind and a clear monitoring plan. During the consultation, if we see your child is on track or only needs time, we’ll tell you exactly that—along with age-appropriate strategies to support continued growth at home.

Some consultations lead to immediate assessment and therapy. Others lead to “let’s watch these specific areas and reassess in 3 months.” Both outcomes are valuable—because you’ll know exactly where you stand instead of worrying in the dark.

Think of it this way: You wouldn’t skip a paediatrician visit because “maybe nothing’s wrong.” Developmental health deserves the same priority.
We understand that fear—it’s one of the biggest reasons parents delay. But here’s the truth:
A consultation isn’t about labels; it’s about understanding your child. Our job is to identify what support your child needs, not to box them into a diagnosis. Many children show delays without meeting criteria for autism or ADHD. And for those who do, early support changes everything—diagnosis becomes a tool for access, not a limitation.
What parents tell us later: “The fear of knowing was worse than actually knowing. Once we understood what was happening, we could finally help our child.”

How Ananya works

Three clear steps:
STEP 1: Consultation (usually 30-40 minutes)
You meet with a senior specialist (20+ years of experience). Share your concerns, they observe your child, and you get a clear recommendation: Does your child need an assessment or therapy? Or can you monitor at home?
STEP 2: Assessment (if recommended)
A detailed evaluation of your child’s skills across all developmental areas. This gives us the full picture and helps us design the right therapy plan. Duration: 1–3 hours depending on your child’s needs.
STEP 3: Therapy Begins
Personalised sessions start (online or at our centre), along with parent training so you can support your child’s progress every single day.
Timeline: Most families complete consultation and assessment within 4-6 days and begin therapy immediately after.
Your consultation is with a senior specialist with over 20 years of experience. Here’s what to expect:
1. You talk first – Share your concerns, your child’s history, and what you’ve observed
2. We observe your child – Through play, conversation, or structured activities (depending on age)
3. You get answers – We explain what we see and recommend next steps:
Duration: Usually 30–40 minutes (online or in-person at our centre)
Outcome: Complete clarity on what your child needs—no jargon, no guessing

Consultation – Initial meeting to determine if your child needs further evaluation. Quick, focused, decision-making session.

Assessment – Detailed evaluation across all developmental areas (speech, motor skills, cognition, behaviour, social-emotional). This is done only if the consultation shows it’s necessary. It’s deeper, takes 1–3 sessions, and creates the roadmap for therapy.

Not every child needs an assessment – Some consultations end with “Your child is doing fine—here’s what to watch for.” Others lead to assessment and then therapy. We tell you which path during the consultation itself.
Both—and online therapy is highly effective for many families.
Why online works:
In-person (at our centre) is better for: Parents who are in Hyderabad and can commute to our locations, Initial assessments, complex cases, or when hands-on techniques are essential.
It depends on your child’s starting point and goals.
Typical timelines:
Our goal is independence. We’re not trying to keep your child in therapy longer than necessary. We measure progress with specific milestones (e.g., “uses 50 words,” “follows 2-step instructions,” “sits for 10-minute activities”), and we review every 4–6 weeks to adjust the plan.
Every specialist at Ananya is a licensed professional with years of direct clinical experience—not fresh graduates. Our consultants each have over 20 years of expertise in developmental therapies.

More importantly: we work as a team. Your child isn’t “assigned” to one therapist in isolation. We collaborate across disciplines (speech, behaviour, motor skills, learning) to ensure nothing is missed.

Practical details (cost & logistics)

Costs vary based on therapy type, frequency (once vs. multiple sessions per week), and format (online vs. in-person).
What we offer:
To get an exact quote: Book a consultation. Once we understand your child’s needs, we’ll provide transparent pricing with no hidden fees.
Investment perspective: Early intervention now prevents years of struggle (and expense) later—in tutoring, behavioural support, or social challenges.
We provide detailed invoices and progress reports that many families use for reimbursement with their insurers (especially international/NRI plans). Check with your provider about coverage for developmental therapies. We’ll give you all documentation needed for claims.
Three ways:

Timeline: Most families have their consultation within 3–7 days of reaching out. If assessment and therapy are recommended, sessions typically begin within two weeks.

Note: We work from 9 AM to 6 PM (IST), Monday to Saturday. For any calls or messages between 6 PM and 9 AM, we will only be able to respond to them on the next working day during the working hours.

Results & your role

Most families notice changes within the first 2–4 months—new words appearing, better focus, fewer meltdowns, smoother movements. The key is consistency: regular sessions + practicing strategies at home.
We track measurable goals so you always know where you stand. Progress isn’t vague; it’s documented and reviewed with you every month.
Absolutely. With your permission, we’ll coordinate with your child’s doctor, teachers, or other therapists. Many parents find this invaluable—it ensures everyone’s working towards the same goals, and your child gets consistent support everywhere.

Critical. We’ll teach you techniques to use with your child during everyday moments—play, meals, bedtime, outings.

Think of us as coaches, not just therapists. – We guide, you practice. Parents who actively participate see results twice as fast. You don’t need hours of extra time—just intentional interactions throughout your existing routine.

This parent-training approach is why our online therapy works so well—you become the most important part of your child’s progress.
